I didn’t really do shit today besides catch up on sleep and watch movies. The coolest thing was installing the bidet I ordered and regaining that clean butt feeling I’ve been missing since I came home from Hawaii. Besides that, here’s another self portrait.
I spent today unpacking my luggage, shopping for groceries, and doing laundry. I’m slowly adjusting back to normal life. On the bright side, I received my negative COVID test result, and the bidet I bought online was delivered. Cheers to no cooties and a clean butthole!
I'm back home after spending the last 3 weeks in Hawaii. I'm getting another covid test, after being on a plane for 5 hours, just to be safe. So now I got a hot date with a cotton swab Thursday afternoon. I've got no complaints about getting tested but I do look forward to getting vaccinated as soon as I'm eligible.
Tonight’s my last night in Oahu. Wednesday afternoon I fly back home. It’s been a blast hanging out in Hawaii for 3 weeks and look forward to coming back for more.
This morning I paid off the remaining balance from my car loan from my phone while sitting the toilet with a bidet on it. Technology FTW!
We hiked the Koko Crater Railway this morning. It’s only about 1 mile long but it’s 1000 ft of elevation. It’s one hell of a workout but the views at the top of the island and the ocean are totally worth it.
We watched the WandaVision series finale tonight. What did you guys think? It’s been Frankfurter all along!
I used a bidet for the first time last week and I’ve seen the light. Once I get back home I’m buying one for my toilet. Gotta keep that booty hole clean!
We got up up early Friday morning for another sunrise hike. This time at Diamond Head State Monument on the southernmost coast of Oahu. Afterwards we spent the day driving around the island and stopping at different places to eat food.
I spent about 3 hours before bed trying to come up with something to draw related to this trip. I said fuck it and just drew O’ahu shaped like O’ahu.
We went to Keaiwa Heiau State Park this morning and went on a gnarly 4.8 mile hike. It was muddy AF and I slipped and fell on my ass about a half-hour in. I had a few other close calls but still had a great time. Afterwards we got pancakes for breakfast and topped them with coconut syrup. My favorite pancake syrup. Tomorrow we’re going to a different part of the island for a predawn hike and watching the sunrise from the mountain top.
Another day hanging out at home. This time there was a documentary film crew at the house interviewing my cousin (actually my cousin’s wife but we consider her a cousin too.) It was fun talking to the them, watching them setup and asking them a bunch of questions about the process. They also bought us all a ton of Thai food that we ate for lunch & dinner. Tomorrow, my cousins and I are going hiking.
Another kick-back day with my cousin. Mostly just hanging around the house. Tomorrow, we got some plans to do some fun stuff outside.
For the record, I have not gotten lei’d since I got here.
First day in Hawaii. I didn’t get any sleep last night or on the plane this morning. Pulled an all nighter. I’m gonna catch up on some zzz’s tonight tho.
That's right! From February 17 thru March 10th. I'll be staying with relatives while I'm there. I'm not planning on doing much there besides hiking and hanging out with my cousin. There's not much else to write about. I spent all day preparing for my 3 weeks away from home and now I got less than 4 hours before my flight leaves to shave shower and take a quick nap. Aloha & Mahalo!
I've never been a fan of year-end wrap ups, best-of lists, top-9 pics... none of that. But I do want to shout-out everyone whose rocked a Frankie Mcfly t-shirt. Every time I saw a picture online of someone wearing one a took a screenshot. I made these collages today and uploaded them to Instagram. It makes me happy to see all their smiling faces. Some in beautiful places, some rocking out and some just doing their thing. Thank you so much to everyone that's been supportive of me and my lil endeavor.
Cheers and Happy New Year,
I drove back home from Ukiah today. It felt good to get out of the city and hang with my cousins Bob & Liz for a couple days. My souls battery was able to recharge bit. Now I'm looking forward to starting new projects and wrapping up old ones.
When I got into town yesterday it was already dark so I wasn’t able to see much. Today I was finally able to check out my cousin & his wife’s huge backyard in the woods and go on a short walk/hike near their home. Afterwards we went out for lunch, beers and groceries. At night we we lit the fire pit and gazed at the stars before coming in for dinner. It was a super chill, laid back Saturday.
