It’s been a while since I made new flyers, and I ran out of business cards at Subzero last weekend, so it’s time for a new design. I still need to add all the important info but I’ll have it ready & printed out for this weekend’s events at Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park.
Here’s a little peek of the new mural design I’m working on. I digitally inked the sketch and added colors. Once it gets approved the next steps will be to buy paint then start muraling.  I didn’t do shit today besides sleep in, lay in bed and watch tv before my gig tonight. Tomorrow I’ll work on inking and a color composition for the new mural I’ll be painting soon. Here’s a tiny sneak peek…  I just finished inking what Im going to paint at Viva Calle Sunday morning. My car’s already loaded with paints and everything needed to live-paint and my t-shirts, which I’m hoping to sell a few. Now I just gotta get some sleep before my alarm goes off in a few hours. Should be fun! I and the rest of the TWC (Together We Create) crew will be setup in Japantown on 5th & Jackson from 1- am to 3 pm.
Tonight I started inking this handsome fella. I’d like to stay up all night to finish it but I gotta get up early to hike Mission Peak with a couple friends. It’s a 5.8 mile long hike with 2,100 feet of elevation gain so I need the rest. Otherwise I’m gonna look like this guy.  Another late night nite inking. This is a character I sketched in pencil 10 days ago. I inked this digitally in Adobe Fresco and will eventually ink it with real ink.
I spent most of the day running errands but I made time to draw & ink this little diddly. I’m not really feeling what’s going on in the thought bubble. I might change it before inking.  Tonight I inked a couple sketches I made when I was hanging out with a couple artist buddies. The conversation was about copying other artists so as a goof I copied what they were drawing. They started as very loose pencil sketches then I added details and lettering before applying black ink.
I stayed up way past my bedtime but at least I finished inking this dude I drew a couple weeks ago.  I’m slowly chipping away at this. Tonight I worked on Raphael and will move onto Leonardo next.
I helped my dad replace a kitchen faucet this afternoon then we watched the Super Bowl. Rams vs Bengals. Good game. The commercials were meh. I wasn’t very productive after the game so I inked a little of my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle drawing before bed. Half of Raphael’s torso and his sai.
