I’m still wired after my gig tonight and I just set my alarm to wake me up in three hours. I gotta drive 2 hours to Elk Grove for an early surprise party. Zzzzz…
Today was the last day of our weekend get-together. We had such a great time and shared so many laughs! I don't remember the last time my stomach hurt from laughing so hard! It was the perfect weekend before coming back to a busy week.
I'm out of town tonight thru Sunday. Not gonna be posting much during that time so... chip, chip, cheerio!
I spent a few hours this afternoon in a meeting, getting an overview of the online tools & services I'll need to learn for my new jobby-job. It's a lot of stuff to wrap my head around and get familiar with but I'll figure it out. During the meeting, when I went back to feed the parking meter, I noticed a big crack on one of the tire's sidewalls. I was planning on driving my car to Ukiah for the weekend to together with a bunch of my cousins. For a while I thought I was going to miss it. Luckily my brother it also going so I'm hitching a ride with him tomorrow afternoon. The tire replacement will wait till next week. And in other news... I'm just about done processing all the 1.0 pre-order & custom-order requests that came in yesterday. All the the confirmation emails have gone out and most invoices too. I'll try and wrap that up over the weekend while I'm away. It feels good to be busy again and I'm excited to hang out with my cousins these next few days!
Today my brother took us to the Hoover Dam and we walked across it. Usually there’s a lot more water but we’re in the middle of a drought so it’s really low right now. Afterwards we went Circus Circus casino to play the carnival games. Our parents took us there once when we were kids. We then met up with a friend of mine, who moved to Las Vegas years ago, for sushi before going out for drinks in the art district. Later, another buddy of mine, who I haven’t seen since he moved to Vegas, came out and joined us. It was a great way to end this short trip.
My brother and I went to Area 15 in Las Vegas to check out Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart interactive art experience and it was so much cooler than I anticipated! I mostly took videos, which I uploaded to my Instagram, but none of them were able to capture what it’s really like in there. I think it’s the coolest and weirdest art installation I’ve ever seen can’t wait to go back. If you’re in Vegas you must go visit!
I flew out to Las Vegas today and met up with my brother. We went to the MGM Grand to watch the Jabbawockeez perform with G-Wrex of The Bangerz. I’m on a mini vacation till I fly back Thursday morning to prepare for the Rose, White & Blue event on Sunday, the 4th of July. Another busy day, but I made sure to make time to work on our 1000 piece puzzle with grandma. We got a lot done. Tomorrow I'm flying to Las Vegas to hang out with my brother foe a few days and go watch the Jabbawockeez perform with local DJ group The Bangerz at the MGM Grand. I'm super excited! I'll be back Thursday to start prepping for the Rose White & Blue Festival on Sunday, the 4th of July.
I didn’t really do shit today besides catch up on sleep and watch movies. The coolest thing was installing the bidet I ordered and regaining that clean butt feeling I’ve been missing since I came home from Hawaii. Besides that, here’s another self portrait.
I spent today unpacking my luggage, shopping for groceries, and doing laundry. I’m slowly adjusting back to normal life. On the bright side, I received my negative COVID test result, and the bidet I bought online was delivered. Cheers to no cooties and a clean butthole! I'm back home after spending the last 3 weeks in Hawaii. I'm getting another covid test, after being on a plane for 5 hours, just to be safe. So now I got a hot date with a cotton swab Thursday afternoon. I've got no complaints about getting tested but I do look forward to getting vaccinated as soon as I'm eligible.
Tonight’s my last night in Oahu. Wednesday afternoon I fly back home. It’s been a blast hanging out in Hawaii for 3 weeks and look forward to coming back for more.
This morning I paid off the remaining balance from my car loan from my phone while sitting the toilet with a bidet on it. Technology FTW!
We hiked the Koko Crater Railway this morning. It’s only about 1 mile long but it’s 1000 ft of elevation. It’s one hell of a workout but the views at the top of the island and the ocean are totally worth it.
We watched the WandaVision series finale tonight. What did you guys think? It’s been Frankfurter all along!
I used a bidet for the first time last week and I’ve seen the light. Once I get back home I’m buying one for my toilet. Gotta keep that booty hole clean! We got up up early Friday morning for another sunrise hike. This time at Diamond Head State Monument on the southernmost coast of Oahu. Afterwards we spent the day driving around the island and stopping at different places to eat food.
I spent about 3 hours before bed trying to come up with something to draw related to this trip. I said fuck it and just drew O’ahu shaped like O’ahu.
